Position Summary This is clinical work, performing diagnostic radiographic procedures for use in the evaluation of patients.
Work also includes instruction of students and assisting with clerical functions.
Work is performed independently under general supervision and is reviewed by the Supervisor (with physician feedback).
Through adherence to established procedures and protocols and by observation and discussion of results achieved.
Floats to all locations where Walk in Clinics are located.
Could also be rotated to any campus that offers Diagnostic Imaging.
This position supports the Walk In Clinic and performs point of care testing.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education:
Completion of a formal AMA approved two year course is preferred.
License/Certifications:
BLS is required within 60 days of date of hire.
Experience:
Minimum of one month experience required.
Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and the State of Maine required.
Must be able to work weekend and holidays.
Must be able to flex based on department volumes/demands.
Recommended Skills Basic Life Support Clinical Works Medical Imaging Radiologic Technologist Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
