Job Description:
Description: Key Responsibilities: o Work with project team members to solve difficult mechanical engineering and process equipment related problems resolve project related issues and develop understanding of process and equipment design requirements for life science products o Craft machine design specifications error budgets and mechanical design concepts.
Design and follow construction of prototype and production process equipment conduct proof of concept and prototype tests to validate design concept collect and evaluate data and make appropriate engineering recommendations o Focus will be on the design system integration/debug installation and production start-up of process machines machine components and material handling systems and training of plant personnel o Responsible for acquiring knowledge of assigned areas (tolerance analysis component specification process requirements machine functionality material selection error budgets etc.
) o Work with external machine builders system integrators and suppliers to successfully deliver assigned areas of responsibility to overall project team on-time on-budget and to meet process performance measures o Support the generation of construction drawings (using 2D/3D software packages) installation drawings and ensure that final drawing packages reflect as-built conditions and satisfies Corning drawing standards o Report on project activities status and issues on a periodic basis to project & department leadership o Work in a team based environment and able to participate on a highly matrixed project team to execute project assignments with minimal supervision Education and

Mechanical Engineering 5-10 years in Mechanical Engineering Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: Normal Business Hours (8 &ndash 5 M &ndash F) Travel Requirements: Estimated travel is 70% - 90% depending on location of candidate.
Travel may be required during installation debug and start-up and for routine interaction with customers and suppliers.
Needs to be open to frequent travel to North Carolina.
Required Skills: o Basic understanding of materials process and mechanical design to enable the development of cost effective process machine systems o Ability to use experimentation to develop basic process knowledge design prototype test systems and perform proof of principle testing to validate approach o Familiar with state of the art technologies in the following areas: electro-mechanical drive systems fluid power pneumatics robotics material handling alignment part sensing and safety standards o Ability to effectively use external machine builders and system integrators for detail design build and integration of later stages of machine system implementation o Proven skills in 2-D and 3-D CAD Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and knowledge of ANSI Y14.
5-1994 drafting standard o Self-starter who is results- oriented possesses a high dedication level and can meet objectives and timelines while applying sound problem solving and decision-making processes and skills Desired Skills: o Entrepreneurial forward-looking with knowledge of glass and ceramic manufacturing and precision engineering principles o Experience with use of standard computer modeling and analysis software packages used in design of mechanical systems including Solidworks and AutoCad design software o Experience crafting systems for deployment in &ldquoclean room&rdquo or &ldquocontamination sensitive&rdquo applications and prior experience moving a new product / process from development into manufacturing Soft Skills: o Ability to work on a diverse project team and effectively high levels of uncertainty ambiguity and change o Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
